Swedish Massage: Swedish Massage: Swedish massage uses hands to manipulate and relax muscles by applying pressure and rubbing in the direction of the heart. Oil or lotion is used to make the five types of strokes (gliding, kneading, rubbing, shaking and pounding) smoother. It can alleviate mental and physical stress that the body is feeling. This is the most common type of massage and it feels great. If it is your first time having this massage you will feel great during the massage but be prepared for the possibility that you may be a little sore for a day or two afterward.

Relaxation Massage: A smooth, flowing style that promotes general relaxation, improves circulation and range of movement, and relieves muscular tension.

Deep Tissue massage or Sports Massage: Deep tissue massage is the Swedish massage with power, meaning slower strokes and more pressure. It feels really good but you may get that "I want to laugh and cry at the same time" feeling during the experience. This is not for a first time massage customer unless your goal is to limp from the spa at the end of the day. Once you are comfortable with a Swedish massage and want to try a more vigorous massage, try this out. Many athletes use sports massage in their fitness routines. It can be a valuable day-off ritual and provide real heath benefits including; reducing muscle soreness by flushing out lactic acid, reducing muscle tension and inflammation, injury rehabilitation and breaking the cycle of stress and tension that is such a large factor in common aches and pains. If you need a gift for a current or aspiring athlete you can't beat a sports massage for physical and mental benefit!

Neuromuscular Therapy: uses techniques of cross-fiber palpations, stripping, pinch palpation and manual manipulation of connective tissue and tendons. Helps break up adhesions and calcifications. Restores muscular flexibility and function.

Reflexology: Using thumb and finger pressure on the reflex points of the feet and hands (which correspond to all areas of the body) to assist in achieving balance within the body.

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is one of the methods of stretching most used by today's athletes, massage therapists, personal/athletic trainers, and professionals. Active Isolated Stretching allows the body to repair itself and also to prepare for daily activity. The Active Isolated Stretching technique involves the method of holding each stretch for only two seconds. This method of stretching is also known to work with the body's natural physiological makeup to improve circulation and increase the elasticity of muscle joints and fascia.

The healing art of Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient and sacred system of healing with roots in Yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine and Buddhist spiritual practice. It is a unique and powerful system of Yoga Therapy, which combines rhythmic massage, acu-pressure, asanas (Yogic stretching exercises), gentle twisting, energy work and meditation. Thai Yoga Massage stimulates and balances the flow of healing energy within the body, opening the areas which are blocked bringing the person deeper into balance and harmony for health, happiness and wellness of being. This system creates a powerful release of stress and tension, an increase in vitality and well-being and it deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit in both the giver and receiver.

Myofascial Therapy is a form of bodywork (alternative medicine) which includes, but is not limited to structural assesments (where a formal diagnosis is not necessarily given) and manual massage techniques for stretching the fascia and releasing bonds between fascia, integument, muscles, and bones are mainly applied; with the goal of eliminating pain, increasing range of motion and balancing the body. The fascia is manipulated, directly or indirectly, allowing the connective tissue fibers to reorganize themselves in a more flexible, functional fashion.
